This is the page where we will post things about upcoming events, workshops, and actvities that the ausTIN CANs will be holding and/or participating in. We hope you will join us!
- On February 18, we will be hosting the 5th annual Austin Robot Roundup. This will be a fun experience for all the teams that come and practice. Make sure you come out and participate. It will be free to the public.
- On March 1st, we will be going to San Antonio to compete in the Alamo Regional. Make sure to come out and support us, and the 62 other teams that will be attending this competition.
- The 2nd annual Texas Robot Roundup, the first official off-season event in Texas, is held during the off-season for teams to compete one more time in the past season’s event. TRR is a great way to introduce new members, mentors, sponsors, and teams to FIRST. We will hold a variety of workshops on programming in LabView, mechanical design, non-engineering mentoring, and more. Save the date for this year’s Texas Robot Roundup – July 27th and 28th! - Each summer, the ausTIN CANs also hold camps for elementary and middle school students. Campers get to build FLL, FTC, and VEX robots and compete in past competitions. Stay tuned for more information!
