Tin Shady

2024

2024’s robot, Tin Shady, was prepared to compete in FIRST’s challenge: Crescendo presented by the HAAS Foundation. This game is focused on a collection of rings that must be either shot into the high up opening of the Speaker or into the narrow opening of the Amp. Tin Shady was designed to intake the rings from the floor and feed them into his shooter.


Cannoli

2022

2022’s robot, Cannoli, was prepared to compete in FIRST’s challenge: Rapid React in partnership with the Boeing company. Our robot is able to collect cargo through a simple-yet-effective intake, move it to the shooter, and shoot it far up into the air to score in the upper hub of the central goal. It could also climb on the hangar to earn more points as the game ended.

 

Dyson

2023

2023’s robot, Dyson, was prepared to compete in FIRST’s challenge: Charged Up presented by the HAAS Foundation. This game focused on two kinds of cargo, those being cons & cubes. Dyson was able to pick up cargo with a fast & effective intake, moving it to charge up the grid. filling up the grid as much as it CAN. By the time it’s endgame, Dyson is able to balance on what we call the charging station, earning more points for when the game ends.

2020's robot, Azeem, was prepared to compete in FIRST's challenge: INFINITE RECHARGE in partnership with Lucasfilm. Our robot was able to collect, store and score power cells (foam balls) and climb the generator switch with one other robot, and stay level.

2019's robot, Dominic, was prepared to compete in FIRST's challenge: DESTINATION DEEP SPACE Presented by the Boeing Company. Our robot was able to pick up cargo and hatch panels and place them on the lowest levels. It was able to climb to the first and second levels.

2018's robot, Olga, participated in FIRST: Power Up. Our robot was able to pick up a cube the size of a milk crate, place it on a scale or switch, and climb a metal rung to ‘beat the boss’. The robot climbed using a metal hook, which fully extended to 80 inches.
